Build A Fish Tank
You will need a fish tank. The size of the tank depends on how many fish you want to be able to raise at once and how much water you have available for them.
You also want to make sure that the fish tank is strong enough to support itself and the weight of all of its contents, including water.
Make sure that it has a lid, so that you can keep your fish safe from predators (like raccoons or cats) while they are in their habitat!

Construct The Table

Once all of your pieces are cut and assembled into one continuous piece that runs from bottom to top, it’s time for some final assembly!
You’ll want a rubber stopper at each end of your pipes so no water can leak out while it travels through them and we’ve got a few recommendations for how best do this yourself:

To install the plexiglass, we cut a piece of 1/4-inch thick plexiglass that matches the dimensions of our growbeds (it’s approximately 3 inches shorter than each side).
We then used strong double-sided tape to adhere this piece of plexiglass onto our growbeds.

Add A Submersible Pump
The next thing you need to add is a submersible pump. This is an important piece of equipment for your aquaponics system, as it will help move water from the fish tank and onto your plants.
